1. Humidity of the Space:
   
   

   • Dry Spaces: For cabinets in dry areas, such as wardrobes, sideboards, and shoe cabinets, you can choose eco-friendly boards, multi-layer boards, OSB (Oriented Strand Board), particle boards, or MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard).
     
     
   • Humid Spaces: For cabinets in humid areas, such as kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and balcony washing machine cabinets, choose moisture-resistant materials like eco-friendly boards or multi-layer boards. Avoid particle boards and MDF, which are not moisture-resistant.
     
     

2. Load-Bearing Capacity:
   
   

   • Weight of Stored Items: The weight of items stored in the cabinet is crucial. For heavy items, choose materials with good stability and nail-holding capacity. MDF, for example, is not suitable for heavy loads and may collapse under weight.
     
     

3. Cabinet Body vs. Cabinet Doors:
   
   

   • Cabinet Body: The cabinet body should focus on stability, moisture resistance, and nail-holding strength. Materials like eco-friendly boards, multi-layer boards, OSB, and particle boards are suitable.
     
     
   • Cabinet Doors: Cabinet doors, especially large ones that reach the ceiling, should consider the risk of warping and deformation. OSB or particle boards are recommended for doors as they are less prone to bending and warping.
     
     

4. Environmental Considerations:

• Eco-Friendliness: While the environmental impact of cabinet materials may not be immediately visible, it can be detected through odors once you start living in your home. Choose materials with at least an E1 environmental standard to ensure safety and minimize harmful emissions. Avoid low-quality, cheap materials that can compromise your health and comfort.
